I recently switched from store packets of taco seasoning to this recipe. It has a bit more kick and it stores so well in a large glass jar.

This is what you need:

• 3/4 cup chili powder
• 1 tablespoon garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon onion powder
• 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
• 1 tablespoon dried oregano
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons ground cumin
• 1/4 cup sea salt
• 1/4 cup black pepper

This is how you make it:  

1. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients. Store in an airtight container.
2. 2-3 tablespoons equals one 1.25 oz taco seasoning package.
