As noted in the previous post, there’s a duck nesting right outside my door. I looked out this afternoon to see if she was around and, what?!, she was away from the nest! There are 8 eggs in there! So my first thought was, “She’s watching me.” I could feel it. So I stepped slowly towards the nest and looked around. Nothing happened so I squatted down beside the nest. Still, nothing happened.

Ah-ha. I am so clever. She built her nest between the brick wall of my apartment and two of my empty flower pots. So I moved the flower pots. The nest is now out in the open with no protection. I did not harm the ducks OR the eggs. I have simply provided a reason for her to move.

I am brilliant!! I hope my plan works.
