Happy Cinco de Mayo! I am wearing a very festive dress to celebrate.

Tomorrow I start my new job. I am so excited to be employed by Town Square Dermatology. It was literally a God-send of a job. I walked in to drop off a resume and walked out with a job offer. It couldn’t have worked out better.

Only three more weekends until I live in my new apartment. For that, I am excited and completely ecstatic about. I can’t wait to start putting things up on the walls and decorate again. I can’t wait to have “my” place again. I’m looking forward to scouting out a good jogging trail in North Liberty and also the library. (I am nervous because it’s a community library and not a public library. I feel like their selection is probably pretty limited.) Kevin is excited because I made him a deal last night that if he buys me a crock pot, I will make him food so he can go over to my apartment over his lunch break [he worked a couple of blocks away]. He is already coming up with a list of all sorts of things he wants me to make. He told me that he could live off of BBQ meat for the rest of his life. I suppose that will be easy enough then.
