Fall always make me nostalgic for some reason. I have yet to figure out what it is about fall that makes me feel this way, but I always feel like I should be remembering something wonderful. As a result, I often get more emotional and imaginative about things that otherwise wouldn’t affect me.

Tonight, on my way home from work, I turned up the radio just in time for Saving Jane to come up with Supergirl. Now, this is just a great song in general, but it was especially great for me because, for a full 2 minutes and 58 seconds, I could easily pretend that I was back in Columbus. Saving Jane is a Columbus-based band and, up until recently, they haven’t hit many radio stations west of there. Thus, the reason it was a special treat for me to hear them on Iowa radio.

Now, if only Patrick would entertain me in Iowa as well…
