Hi, I'm Emily.

I thought this was interesting in a nightmarish kind of way.  I can’t even imagine all of the wedding stress multiplied times four.  On the other hand, better to get them all out of the way at the same time, I guess.  Hah…good for them.

I told Kevin yesterday about what I am dreading most about the wedding.  I had told this to my coworkers beforehand and they assured me that it will be fine, but I have this terrifying fear of walking down the aisle because I do not want everyone to be watching me.  I’m imagining walking in at graduation, but 10x worse.  I get panicked when I have to open presents in front of people, be it Christmas or birthday.  This is why anyone who is around me during these holidays can remember how I’m always trying to joke around just to help me relieve the pressure of the situation on me.  (On a side note, while I am so grateful for the family and friends who are throwing me bridal showers, I am secretly so nervous about being the center of attention like that!)
You can imagine if I get that anxious about something as simple as opening gifts, I might have a panic attack about the whole walking-down-the-aisle thing.  People have said to just look at Kevin at the front of the church and I’ll be fine; I have to trust them because there’s nothing else I can do.  I might have to do some yoga before the wedding though to calm my nerves.
P.S.  On a side note, we got my wedding band last week and it is the most gorgeous ring you’ve ever seen.  I am so excited to wear it that I’ve been secretly putting it on and wearing it around my house.  Kevin says that it’s bad luck to wear it before the wedding, but I don’t think he’s right.  Besides, I can’t help it.  I am so excited that I have less than 8 weeks until I get to wear it forever.  It looks perfect with my engagement ring as well.  As excited as I get about the sparkling diamonds though, I am excited for what my ring represents: the rest of my life with the guy who is perfect in every way for me.  Cheers.

Em! You are so cute! Don’t worry! I was totally afraid of everyone looking at me and/or tripping and falling on my face! It was in fact quite the opposite! My parent’s both walked me down the aisle and they both said I was pulling them down the aisle! I honestly don’t even remember seeing anyone else there! Just take a deep breath before you go, and take it all in! It’s the last walk you’ll ever take as a Miller! OXOXO Brittany

Em, I’m sure you will survive the walk down the aisle just fine, especially with Kevin waiting for you at the other end. At least, it’s a small church, so the walk will over with before you know it 🙂 Love your new profile pic, too!

I used to wear my wedding band around, too! Andrew caught me once….but it didn’t really stop me 🙂
