Hi, I'm Emily.
This morning, my alarm went off at 6:30 and I jumped up actually wanting to go for a run, but then I heard the pelting rain outside. I turned my alarm off, went back to sleep for 45 minutes, then packed my gym bag. I will still run today, but it will just have to wait until after work and it will have to be at the gym instead of outside.
Peace, yogurt, and a sports bra.
Addendum: The day turned out to not be so terrible by 5 o’clock. The pouring sheets of rain ended and the sun came out. Actually, it rather turned into a muggy, sunny sweatfest, but I took it on armed with Meredith (my iPod). I made it my fastest time yet (10:18/mile!) and ran 2.72 miles. I was drenched with sweat, but I feel great. Tomorrow is Saturday so no running, but I am getting up to go to the gym for sunrise yoga and Body Pump. Back on Monday morning…
