How far and/or fast do you have to run to become a “runner”? If you love running one day, but hate it the next, does that make you a bad runner?
As happened last week, by this morning (Thursday), my body just feels tired, not achy or sore, but tired. I am imagining that it’s due, in part, to the fact that I am only 3 weeks into this and prior to this, I didn’t exactly run straight through nearly three miles (walk, run, waaalk, run, waaaaaaaalk, run, waaaaaaaaaaalk). Any way that you look at it though, I was dragging myself out of bed this morning, got a late start to running (sheer procrastination at it’s finest) and then felt like I couldn’t get my breathing, my beat, or my iPod right (the earphone kept falling out). Essentially, today wasn’t the best run day for me. Tomorrow is Friday and, for more reasons that one, I am very excited about that.
Peace, iced water, and better times tomorrow.
