Last Monday, I woke up in a terrible mood. Nothing was going right for me and I didn’t feel good (I ended up leaving work at noon and my temperature was unusually low: 95.6F) and I just felt really depressed.
I got to work and several things were chaotic that morning. As I was rushing around, I came through the door to grab something on my desk and Marlene was signing for a flower delivery. They were beautiful, gigantic sunflowers for me. The card simply said, “Smile.”
Gosh, he just gets me.
