We put up our Christmas tree last night!!!!  I have been looking forward to this for over a month now and as soon as we got back from Thanksgiving in Ankeny, we put it up.  (Kevin wouldn’t let me put it up before Thanksgiving.)  It’s beautiful.  Last year, I had gotten into the after-Christmas sales at Hobby Lobby and went nuts with Christmas tree ornaments.  I had wrapped them all up carefully in tissue paper and packaged them for the year.  It felt like Christmas all over when I got to unwrap them all and exclaim over every one because I had forgotten what they looked like.  I think that our tree is the most beautiful tree in the whole world.  It puts me in am immediate good mood when I look at it.  I have threatened to leave it up year-round.

Oh joy!  Bring on Christmas, my favorite season of all!!!
