I was honored to be able to shoot for MidWestOne‘s children’s art gallery. This is an annual competition among area schools. The winners are featured in MidWestOne’s calendar. From my perspective, they were all so uniquely well-done that I could’ve never chosen a winner–that’s why I just took pictures. Honestly, these kids have talent!
It was so interesting to me how different all the pictures were, but yet each one told it’s own story. I was listening to a little girl tell her mom about her picture and I was captured by it; I never would’ve guessed that it was what she was trying to portray. But isn’t that the true beauty of art? It speaks to everyone in different ways.
Here’s a sneak peak of what is to come once I get through all of the editing.
