They are not only gorgeous, but great troopers. We battled high humidity and sweat and stickiness, but I think it was worth it. Little L just turned 1 and Brandon & Nikki just had their 5th anniversary.
I grew up over at Brandon’s house almost as much as mine since our parents were best friends. (If only I had a scanner to post some of the pictures from back in the day…) Nikki came into my life much later, but our friendship has been strong and beautiful since high school. I can’t quite believe that it’s been 5 years since their wedding and, even more, can’t believe it’s been a year since I saw tiny little L in her clear plastic hospital-grade basinet! She’s a gorgeous little girl with a huge personality. I loved capturing their little family.
Have a great weekend!

Addendum: After posting this earlier today, I went to the garage and dug out my baby book. I found exactly what I was looking for. I give you the earlier days life, about, oh, 20-some years ago.
On the left is Lindsay (Brandon’s sister/L’s aunt). On the right is Little L looking alike!
The little boy is Brandon’s brother, Anthony. The little girl looking scared of him is me. I pulled this one out because I thought that L looked like her aunt, but she looks like her uncle too!
And this one is just for fun–a dandy, if you will. I do not remember the circumstances surrounding this picture, but it really makes me laugh!! Brandon is in the Donald Duck mask, Anthony is in the gray wild wig, Lindsay is looking normal, and I’m in the mix of blue nightgown, plaid XL vest, yellow turtleneck, red sweatshirt, and black curly wig.
