Christmas music is officially merrying the air in our home. This causes several things: really festive moods, dancing, singing loudly, and bee-bopping (which is different than dancing). Favorite Christmas albums? Michael Bublé’s Christmas, Celine Dion’s These Are Special Times, the Elf soundtrack, Pink Martini’s Joy to the World, She & Him’s A Very She & Him Christmas, and, yes, Mariah Carey’s old Merry Christmas.
I got an air freshener that smells like apple cider. Again, merriness.
Our tree is up. Kevin says I have to wait until after Thanksgiving, even though I begin my begging around Halloween. I know my husband loves me when I wake up in the morning and he has already turned on the tree lights and started the fireplace. Christmas is my favorite holiday. Nothing, nothing beats Christmas.

Several people have told me lately that my hair is a lot longer! This is encouraging news indeed.
With winter heading in, I’ve been able to spend more time reading books. I have scored several really great ones recently! I’m on GoodReads if you’re interested. Most recent good read is The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. Could not get enough!!!
