The sun flickered in and out behind the fluffy clouds panning across the bluest backdrop of sky. Inside, the bridal party ate sandwiches and the ladies finished hair and makeup. I found him sitting down reviewing his vows, carefully printed on paper that had been folded and unfolded many times already. He was ready.
She was a picture of calm. In fact, at some point, one of the bridesmaids commented on her lack of stress. Her older sister said, “She’s always been the calm one. I’m more stressed about this wedding than she is!” But that’s what protective older sisters do: she wanted everything to be perfect for her little sister. And perfect it was.
Karissa and Brandon got married at The Celebration Farm on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Their love for each other has blossomed since they first met and their vows were personally written to reflect their deepest respect and commitment to each other.
Karissa’s dress was from Hope’s Bridal and her florals were done my the fabulous Empire House.
I loved this moment with her sister and mom, getting final touches. Her mom said, “Can you believe it’s finally here?” Karissa could only laugh with happiness.
Karissa’s sister, Marcie, did her makeup (and those eyelashes are 100% REAL!) and Carleen Miller did her beautiful updo.
Karissa & Brandon opted for a First Look and it was such a special moment for them to see each other for the first time. They were so excited that the day had finally come!
