- While I patiently waited for my copy of Bloom to come in the mail, I read The Language of Flowers. Don’t worry, it’s much more a novel than a dictionary. It was so good that I couldn’t put it down. I’m on a winning streak with my book choices lately and I’m kind of ecstatic about it. (Bloom came and I read it in one night; it’s a beautiful, beautiful book.) Here’s one of my favorite quotes from The Language of Flowers.
- My sister just found out last week that she’s having a girl! This makes me thrilled to start shopping for itty bitty girl clothes! (So…technically, I already started. Mini clothes are the cutest trumped only by itty bitty mini shoes!)
- In other news, my sister-in-law is going to give me a new nephew in just a few weeks. I’m so lucky! I cannot wait to snuggle!! Every morning, I wake up and think, “Today could be the day he comes!”
- Growing up on a farm outside of town, I never got to participate in things like Trick-or-Treating, May baskets, etc. So this year, I got to experience May baskets first-hand at my part-time job! Obviously, my favorite part was the chocolate. Duh. I have missed out on so much!
- We went to Pathway, my alma mater, for my littlest brother’s dinner theatre, Sherlock Holmes. First of all, dinner theatres at Pathway are the best because the food is over-the-top delicious. My brother had a big role in the play (as Mr. Larabee) and did/had (?) a pretty stellar performance.
