These mocktails were so much fun!! We served them at my mom’s 60th birthday party and, though both are incredibly tasty, the Sweet Sunrise mocktail is the prettiest of the two, thus making it the more popular option. I put my two younger brothers in charge of the drinks station and they each took one drink and then proceeded to try to outdo each other in amounts of drinks served. I’m not sure who won, but they both seemed to be busy. (This was a brunch so we, of course, also had coffee and tea available via my handy-dandy Keurig machine.)
Baby Bellini Mocktail (non-alcoholic version of a Peach Bellini)
This is what you need per drink:
- 2 ounces peach nectar
- Chilled sparkling cider
This is how you make it:
- Pour the peach nectar into a champagne flute, then slowly add the sparkling cider.
Sweet Sunrise Mocktail (non-alcoholic version of a Tequila Sunrise)
This is what you need:
- Orange juice
- Grenadine
- Orange slices for garnish
This is how you make it:
- Fill tall glass with orange juice and ice so it’s approximately ¾ full, then pour grenadine slowly—it will sink to the bottom, giving it an ombré effect (it will mix as you drink it). Garnish with an orange slice.
