They met in the City High School marching band. In the years since those high school days, they’ve been carving out their life together, choosing each other and growing their little family by adding a miniature poodle to their family a few years ago.

When deciding on a place for their engagement session, it only made sense to go back to where they got engaged: downtown Iowa City by the river near the old row house. The weather turned beautiful and the sun cast the most beautiful glow through the sky. It made my heart sing.
