They made their debut Friday. If you missed it, catch up on their love story here. It’s pretty great.
I asked Megan when she knew Trent was the one. She said, “I knew I was going to be with this guy for quite a long time just after our first date. I had a few early month jitters because he was the first serious boyfriend I ever had. I thought to myself, ‘It can’t be this easy to find the perfect man!’ [But] after 6 months of dating, I was ready to hop on the marriage train!”
When I asked Trent the same question, he responded that he had travelled to Spain for a few week and, of course, didn’t see Megan during that time. “Traveling home, the excitement to see her kept mounting. I am almost always level headed, but somehow she made me a little crazy because I wanted to see her so bad. I finally got home and rushed to her apartment in Cedar Rapids. … I remember thinking that there was no way I would let her ever get away from me. I knew that she was going to be my wife, I just didn’t know when it would happen yet.”
After their picnic at City Park, we went over to the Old Capitol building. During part of their engagement, Megan lived in Cedar Rapids and Trent lived in Kalona so they would often meet halfway. They shared many dates, dreams, and life goals here. It only seemed appropriate to capture them in a place that had an impact on their relationship.
Megan has the cutest laugh ever. Look at her! So gorgeous!
Their wedding is going to be Gatsby themed and I’m so (so so so) excited about it! Megan had such a unique style and I think her wedding is going to be absolutely dreamy!
Looooovvveeeee…
You can see now why I couldn’t pare down their photos. These two are so fantastic! Megan & Trent, you two are such a blessing. To me, to those around you, to each other. I have loved getting to know you both and am so excited to capture the happiest day of your lives next spring. Xo! Emily
