The way he looks at her tells you everything you need to know. He adores her in the most sincere of ways and she leans into him because she trusts him explicitly. Theirs has been a long-distance relationship (see how they met!) and I’m so glad they will finally begin their chapter together, in the same home, in the same state. Congratulations, Emily & Sanjay!
Their wedding was at Cedar Ridge Winery. I’ve always loved this place and the people who work there, but I fell even more in love with it this past Saturday with the gray clouds and  brilliant fall colors.
Sanjay’s family could not make it from India, but there were reminders of them and of his heritage everywhere. These stunning shoes were custom-made in India for Emily.
Around her bouquet was a string of charms, including photos of family members who couldn’t be with them.
Their first look. I love his facial expression.
Emily was absolutely gorgeous. I mean, seriously. Just look at her.
Go on, girlfriend.
The sun peeked out about half an hour before the ceremony, but was already low in the sky. It was chilly and poor Jenna, the flower girl, had a long day. She just need some aunty-loving.
One of my favorites.
Such an amazing site for a ceremony, no?
Husband & wife!
Sanjay’s niece was able to watch the ceremony via Skype. This was right after the ceremony when Sanjay got to talk to her. Technology eases the pain of long-distance.
We snuck off for a few more photos before the reception.
Their custom cake-topper is their silhouettes.
Their grand entrance was one of my all-time favorites. They shimmied and danced their way all the way from one end of the hall to the other. It was so happy and fantastic!
