She got a text message from him after work as she was getting ready for dinner with her parents. He said he wanted to come over early to talk before her parents arrived. She shrugged it off and didn’t think anything of it. He arrived looking dressed up and sat down next to her. He grabbed her hands and had the a nervous look on his face. She said, “I was initially worried that something was wrong. He looked me in the eyes and said that he loved me he wanted to move forward with our relationship and he asked me to marry him. Then he dropped the bomb that he was going to ask my parents for their permission when they came over for dinner. I remember being so excited and so nervous for him. It was the most amazing thing watching him ask my parents for permission to marry me.”
Brenna & Mitch are two of the kindest people you’ll meet. They are low key, love being outdoors (him more than her, she says), and are both obsessed with Mexican food. When talking about the other, they use character trait words like kind-hearted, compassionate, kind, giving, and unselfish. Mitch adds that one of the things he most admires about her is for “putting up with me, honestly.”
We started their engagement session near Washington by an old abandoned school that Brenna found. It was so perfect and Brenna kept saying, “I really just thought we could do a shot or two here. I didn’t know you’d find all this stuff!”
Brenna, you are so stunning!
After the school, we went off-roading to private land owned by Mitch’s family. This is where they like to go fishing, camping, and build bonfires and relax. I told them I wanted to built a little shanty and live there.
Leave them some love in the comments below!
