While in Santa Barbara, California last month for the United photography conference, I had the opportunity to be part of several photo shoots. The sign-up spots for the various shoots went like hot cakes so I was really excited to be able to snag two of the 6 that I had wanted. The first one was a mock engagement shoot lead by Amy & Jordan Demos on Monday night.

We went about a mile down the beach from the resort and when we got there, I was immediately starstruck to find out that our models were none other than Matt & Alexa from season 9 of So You Think You Can Dance! As a long time fan of the show and an avid voter, I was of course super awkward because like what to say?? But of course they are both lovely people (and so cute together) so I even got a quick iPhone photo with them at the end. Enjoy some of the photos I was able to grab during the shoot.
