They both described their feelings after their first date the same way, “I was hooked!” They had met for dinner and they both recall the evening being so easy. The conversation, the laughter, and their common likes and dislikes. She says she knew he was the one right away. She’s not much of a fairytale dreamer, but she admits that her friends were right when they told her, “when it happens, you’ll know.”
A year and a half later, they were celebrating her birthday. After work, she went to the gym for a quick workout and came home to find him transformed. “He was dressed up, wine in hand, house spruced up with candles lit, and on the table were roses, wine, and presents!” He told her to shower and then she could open her gifts and they’d go out to eat. Before leaving, she opened her presents (“which didn’t disappoint”) and the card last. In it was the first clue to a small scavenger hunt around their house. It all led to the ring box under a cushion on the sofa and a proposal from the man she loves.
We hit downtown Iowa City this past Saturday for Tiffany & Jonah’s engagement session and these two were absolute naturals in front of the camera!
This is one of my favorites! Their love is so sweet.
And holy moly! Look at this stunning ring!
I adore the way Jonah makes Tiffany smile.
Tiffany, you are gorge. Absolutely gorgeous.
