I wish every single one of you could meet this couple. They shine with love and beauty. They’ve been together since high school and the longevity of their relationship has given them a stability and comfort with each other that it so beautiful to watch.
Their wedding day shone bright as an end cap to a week of rain. I believe though that even if it had rained, it wouldn’t have mattered to them. Taylor & Mick only needed each other. Their ceremony & reception were held at The Celebration Farm and, thankfully, everything went as scheduled being able to hold the ceremony outdoors in the amphitheater.
They first met at Taylor’s 16th birthday party. The saying goes that after meeting her that night, he was a goner. Family & friends all said that they were the couple to look to for how to make a relationship work. Through high school, college, and post-college adult life, these two have put each other first and created a model foundation on which to start their marriage.
We started the day with the ladies. I grabbed Taylor’s stunning Vera Wang gown and Jimmy Choo shoes for some details photos before she got dressed. This jeweled belt? I’m absolutely obsessed with it!
Taylor’s Something Borrowed was this beautiful bracelet that was a gift from her aunt to her mother on her mother’s wedding day.
Their guest “book” was this beautiful Up print by the Disney-Pixar artist.
Isn’t their bridal party stunning?! Most of these people have been friends for nearly their entire lives.
You can imagine how much fun this family has together.
I was so excited to finally get to work with Shelly of Shelly Sarver Designs. Her work is absolutely exquisite!
I cannot get enough of these two!
We finally got some green just in time for this wedding! I’m so glad to see things coloring up around here!
I love the way Mick makes Taylor laugh.
Go on, girlfriend. Just…carry on.
Their reception was inside the Double Round barn and it was absolute perfection!
Taylor & Mick, thank you so much for entrusting me to capture your wedding day. It was so much fun capturing you two on such a happy day and at the very beginning of this new chapter of your relationship. Congratulations!!
