Jenny first spotted Jordan early last year when he was working out at the gym where she is a personal trainer. “I didn’t know him yet, but he definitely caught my eye.” Jordan made the first move, commenting on an Instagram photo of her German Shepherd because he also has a German Shepherd. Dogs, bringing people together since the beginning of time.

They talked a few times at the gym before going on their first date, but once they went out to dinner together, it was almost instantaneous forever commitment for both of them. “I knew he was the one because instantly it just felt right,” Jenny said. “It almost felt ‘too easy.’ Like we had known each other much longer than we really had. He told me he loved me in August and I was already sure. He’s a gentleman and always puts me first. I felt like I knew he was the one really early. It was a feeling I’ve never had before.”

Jordan echoed that sentiment, saying, “Honestly, after about our 2nd or third date, I knew. It was crazy how fast it happened. We just had so much in common. From our dogs, interests, and even our favorite band. I couldn’t get over making her laugh and smile.” 

Jenny’s parents split their time between Iowa and Arizona so when Jenny & Jordan went to visit them last month, Jordan planned the entire proposal with the help of her parents. Jenny said she was not expecting it at all. “I had high hopes that we would get engaged this year, but I was not expecting it this trip. I have always wanted to go to Sedona and we finally decided to go. We went to Cathedral Rock to hike and, half way up the hike, Jordan suggested that we go take a picture of the surrounding area. So we went a ways away and then he got down on one knee.” 

“That’s where I did it,” Jordan said. “On top of the world.”
