The further I get from the newborn stage with my own kids (now 7 and 4), the more astonished I am with how tiny humans start out. I know my own kids were once that small, but, gosh, newborns are really small!

Aylo is named after her great-grandmother and it’s a name that I find both unique and beautiful. I got to photograph her parents before she was born and they didn’t yet know if they were having a boy or a girl; a surprise!
