The sky was blue, the clouds puffy and white, the sun shone brightly on the ground. The humidity was so thick, you could almost see it in the air. The ceremony would be outside in full sun so my goal for photos was to keep people as comfortable as possible outdoors and find some shade. Luckily, I knew there was a tree line that would provide this and we made us of it!
Rachel and David first met in a community group through their church. “He was one of the leaders of the group so I met him right away, but the group was big enough that we really didn’t get to know each other very well that first year.” That following year in October, they had their first official date at Rachel’s house for a movie night. “We had hung out a few times in September so I knew at that point that I really enjoyed talking to him and spending time with him. I was nervous for him to come over. I really wasn’t sure if things would go any further than friendship, but he was really easy and fun to be around so I was excited to get to know him better.”
One of the songs they had during their ceremony was the song “In His Time.” It starts, “In His time, in His time, He makes all things beautiful in His time.” Many times throughout that Sunday afternoon, we celebrated with joy the God brought Rachel and David together in His perfect time.
