In the days leading up to their wedding, we were topping out locally with temperatures in triple digits and heat indexes above the actual temp. While the heat blast would not have dampened their day (because nothing could’ve touched their joy), we were all relieved regardless for the most gorgeous Saturday weather, a high of 86° and a breeze that shooed puffy, white clouds across the sky all day. It was so perfectly beautiful.
Speaking of beautiful, Rachel and Kody, with help from their wedding planner, Lauren of Elizabeth Bliss Events, created a stunning design palette for their day with rich terracotta hues, navy suits trimmed in black, and lots of ivory and greenery.
We started the day at Walker Homestead, where the ladies were getting ready, before heading downtown to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for their ceremony. I’m so excited to show you some of the photos from their day, a sampling of my favorites.

Cocktail hour was so fun, with guests moving from outside to inside and back outside, playing bags, chatting, drinking, and snacking on fresh garden foods.
After toasts, we ran outside to catch the last bits of sun!
Did I ask if they’re be up for “running through a field?” Yes, I did. Did they hesitate? Not even a moment!
This was, beyond doubt, the most lit dance floor I’ve ever seen. DJ Baron spins a club-style dance floor and it was So. Much. Fun! I cannot recommend him enough!!
