Hi, I'm Emily.

A few days shy of exactly two years ago, I met Lauren when I photographed her sister’s wedding. A year ago, I got an email from Lauren, asking if I would be available for her own wedding: “We literally got engaged yesterday and nothing is even close to set yet. We’d love to make next fall happen, but know we’re getting late-ish for booking so trying to see what we can do. But you photographed my sister’s wedding last year and I’ve been dreaming of having you photograph my wedding ever since!” (I truly don’t know if anything makes me happier than photographing siblings; seeing the same families over the span of years as additional family members are added. It is so fun!)

Earlier this year, I met up with Lauren and Thomas out at the Lake MacBride waterfalls for the most delightful engagement session. I still look back at those images with heart eyes. Now we’ve added a whole load of new memories and photos with their perfect–though very humid, haha!–wedding day! Enjoy some of my favorites from this past Saturday.

Their sheer delight upon seeing each other!!

I need a moment for this veil…

Before their ceremony, they privately shared letters with each other.

Lauren’s dad made this beautiful sign for them as well as a custom bags game that they had their guests sign.

Gahhhhh, we had THE BEST time outside briefly after dinner for some additional portraits.
