One thing that is clear to anyone who knows Morgan and Ben is how much they adore each other. I have been looking forward to their wedding ever since their engagement session last year because we not only had so much fun together, but they are so easy to photograph. It is always my goal with every couple to document their personalities and their love. For some, that is lots of laughter. For others, it’s more serious. No couple has ever been the same and so that makes my job ever-shifting and always interesting. I knew from the first moment that I hung out with Morgan and Ben that theirs was a relationship full of laughter and adoration, a somehow perfect combination of tender and silly moments.

Their original wedding date was in February, but last year they made the decision to shift it back a few months in hopes that their grandmothers would be able to attend without worrying about the pandemic plus flu season. (Worth it because they have the cutest grandmas!) By chance, those few months also meant that everyone (including vendors!) was able to be vaccinated whereas that would not have been the case back in February!

And then we went outside for a moment with Morgan and her dad, which was such so sweet.

Morgan was a bridesmaid in another wedding of mine several years ago (hi, Sally and Erik!) and if you look closely, you’ll notice some other familiar faces in this beautiful group of ladies!

Morgan & Ben didn’t see each other before the ceremony, but they did sneak outside to hold hands and say hello.

Back at the Grand River Center, the reception ballroom was ready and waiting!
