Mary-Jo contacted me a few weeks ago to see if I was available for a simple Friday night wedding celebration. She said they wanted their wedding day to be “about us, not worrying about the food, guests, or accommodations. For us, we have found our soul mate and our forever after.”

She says their story happened slowly. “On the couch one day, he told me that he was falling in love with me.  Then there were all the times, he would say “when we’re married…”‘ One day in March, Dan told Mary-Jo that he’d like to get married this time next year. She agreed and they started making plans, but as they started planning, they quickly realized that all they really wanted was to be married! They pivoted and decided to have a very small wedding with her parents as their witnesses. Dan picked the date, they fell in love with the Celebration Farm location, and hired me to come photograph it all! (Dan’s biggest request was lots of pictures, which I am confident I accomplished, haha! Keep scrolling!)

It was truly such a joy to be part of this evening! Congratulations, Mary-Jo and Dan!
