Temperatures were so cold that schools were cancelled last Friday, but, in the words of Rebecca, “Well, I didn’t want to sweat on my wedding day…”
When we were outside, the actual temperature was -9°F, but the “feels like” temperature with wind was -30°F. (It was officially the coldest wedding I’ve ever photographed.) I left the choice of outdoor photos up to the couple and they both chose to go for it. In cases of extreme weather like this, I limit how long we are outside. I would give them about three different pose-instructions inside so that when we went outside, I’d guide them directly from one to two to three and then we’d pop back inside. Rinse and repeat! Aren’t they absolutely stunning?!
