e was at work when his boss asked him to train a new girl. He wasn’t thrilled about it. Not because he didn’t want to train, but because he always has a lot going on and doesn’t like slowing down. But he did it anyway.

Four months later, they went on their first date. Shortly after they started dating, she was injured at work and was at home for a few days on some strong pain medication that made her very ill. It was during this time that she knew he was the one for her. Despite being a squeamish guy, he took time off work and took her to his house to he could take care of her. He sat next to her, held her hair back, and rubbed her back when she got sick. She knew then that he would always take care of her.

This was my second Day After shoot. And, as before, it’s so relaxing to get together with the bride and groom the day after their wedding and shoot some much more casual photos. Janelle and Kurt were on their game with their fishing poles (a huge hobby of theirs!) and Janelle had long-ago told me that she doesn’t care if her dress gets dirty. This session was seriously so much fun!!!

(To see their previous photos, here is their ceremony and here is their reception.)

Her pearl necklace was a surprise gift from Kurt the night before their wedding. Isn’t it gorgeous?

Janelle and Kurt, you guys were a dream to hang out with and photograph. Thank you so much for letting me be part of your wedding. Congratulations so many times over!
