Christmas with the Miller family.  My sister, Megan, and her family were here this Christmas so it was so much fun to have all of my nieces and nephews here.  It was loud, but very fun.

My Christmas morning started out with the most exciting news (of which I have been waiting over a month for): my sister, Carla, called me and said, “I told you that you’d be the first person I call!”  I started shrieking right there in bed.  She’s engaged!!!!!!  I am so happy for her and cannot wait for their wedding.  She is marrying a great man who loves her and I know they are so happy together.  I have waited for this for a long time.  I couldn’t be happier.

Kevin and I went to Kalona to my parents’ house for the day.  After packing up all our stuff (lunch contributions, gifts, laptop, camera, etc.), we hit the road while keeping an eye on the weather.  (Ice storms looming on the horizon.)  I’ll leave the rest of the day up to the pictures.
