Susan and Nate have been patiently waiting for snow for months. I had 4 couples who wanted snowy winter engagement photos, but we just kept…not getting it. So when we had a snow storm that randomly hit us in mid-March, we all made some very last minute schedule adjustments so that we could meet up on a mid-week morning, just as the bitter temperatures were dropping, and before the snow melted. (On Monday, it was 11°F and by Thursday and Friday, it was in the 80s.)
They got engaged in Glacier National Park and, while Iowa can’t compete with those views, look how absolutely gorgeous!

In Glacier National Park, there is a trail called Hidden Lake Trail. “We were hiking down to the lake which is a pretty steep incline and I thought we were going to have to turn around because he was acting off,” Susan said. They made it down to the lake, but “on the way back up, [Nate] asked someone to take our photo and then he proposed!”
