Hi, I'm Emily.

I arrived to a calm house; not the usual hustle and bustle of last minute scurrying. The air was crisp, but surprisingly warm for the first day of October. Wine was being sipped as family milled around the grounds. It was a wonderful feeling, everything so warm and bright and calm. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

Lisa had all of her bases covered with several stunning heirlooms from Andrew’s ancestors. The pearl necklace that she wore was gifted to her, originally Andrew’s great-great-Grandmother’s necklace (something old). The rosary (something blue) was an heirloom piece from Lisa’s great grandfather given to her by her godmother (and great aunt, her grandmother’s twin sister). She wore a beautiful ring from her mother (something borrowed) that was originally her grandmother’s ring.

Isn’t she lovely?

I caught up with Andrew outside before the First Look. I loved his suit choice! It was perfect for a fall, outdoor wedding.

And then it was time for their First Look. Ah, these two are just so beautiful together.

Lisa’s eyes are just killer.

Their ceremony was held beneath the overhang of one of the barns on her parents’ farm. I loved every detail that went into it and I know for a fact that her parents spent a lot of time cleaning everything up in preparation for the event.

Coming soon: Lisa + Andrew’s tented reception on the farm, complete with cupcakes, gourmet caramel apples, and fire pits. Stay tuned!
