- As I was getting my clearance badge at the casino the other day, the guard asked me if I was over 21. He claimed that he has to ask everyone that. I’ll take what I can get.
- I dreamt that I was the Obama’s daughter. We didn’t live in the White House; we lived in an old suburb in a 1970’s house that had zero updates. It was apparently so that we could be more secure since the nation expected us to be living in the White House. Anyway, so my sisters were a riot, but I kept thinking, “Am I adopted? Because obviously I don’t look like any of them!” But I decided that I must not be adopted because they would’ve told me, right? Towards the end of what I remember of my dream, we found out that the U.S. was adopting a monarchy so that meant that President Obama would now be king and I, as his firstborn, would be heir to the throne. I blame it all on the State of the Union address that was on TV the other night. Somehow it must’ve triggered this dream.
- WPPI Vegas is less than a month away. I’m so excited and giddy!
- Exactly one week from today, my website goes live. Again, excited and a wee bit nervous.
- I made bran muffins, but accidentally doubled the batch, which means that I couldn’t even mix it in my Bosch mixer; it was more than 7.5 quarts of batter!!! I have enough muffins to feed about 50 people. Come on over.
- Also along the lines of baking, I made a chopped salad with pasta and didn’t realize that the recipe feeds 24 people. Let’s talk about how much salad and bran muffins we’re eating right now.
- This month has been a little low key in more ways than one. To date, I’ve run just a little over 12 miles out of my total 400 for the year. I’m not worried about it though because I know once the weather gets nicer, I’ll be outside logging a lot more. For now, I’m comfortable doing a few miles here and there on the treadmill. (Side note: does anyone know why I would get blisters from running on a treadmill in the same shoes that I use while running outdoors? I never get blisters running outside.)
- I’m going on the other side of the camera today! More to come on that soon.
