Hi, I'm Emily.

It was spring break in Florida. They had both been invited to spend a week at their friend’s grandparents house. Who would turn down a week of sunshine and relaxation? Morgan knew that her friend wanted to set her up with Bryce, but she wanted no part in being “fixed up”. During that week, they talked some, but Morgan didn’t think much of it. However, when they got home, they never really stopped talking.

Morgan remembers later when she first knew she was going to marry Bryce. “I remember sitting in the passenger seat of Bryce’s truck. I can’t remember where we had been, but I know we were really tired. He was driving we we were holding hands, but not talking. I remember thinking I had never felt so comfortable in silence. … I can’t explain why I knew then; I just knew I could see myself doing nothing and being happy with him.”

He proposed on February 1st this year when they were supposed to celebrate Morgan’s birthday with her best friends. “When I arrived at Bryce’s house, Bryce was the only one there. I questioned him about where his sister was, but he played it off as if it wasn’t a big deal. After chatting about the usual “how was your day?” stuff, he told me he had another birthday gift for me so I was extremely excited as I love gifts! He told me to sit down at the kitchen table and asked if I’d like some wine. This was when I knew something was up! For one thing, Bryce doesn’t usually have wine and he certainly doesn’t have wine glasses! Then Bryce went into his bedroom and came back with a note. He asked me to read it and that’s when tears started to come. It was the sweetest note ever.

“While I was reading the note, Bryce had knelt down beside me and when I was finished, he presented to me the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen. (I didn’t want a diamond and it’s a Morganite stone in a rose gold band.) He asked me, ‘Will you marry me?’ As fast as my heart was beating, I somehow managed a ‘yeah’ and then later after he said that wasn’t a very certain yes, I assured him with a, ‘Yes, yes, of course!!!’ After we called both of our moms, we celebrated my birthday-turned-engagement part with our friends.”

One of my favorites right here.

And this one…wowsers.

We finished their session on top of a parking garage and I absolutely love what we were able to do up there!!!

I just think Morgan is absolutely stunning! And Bryce…he’s 6’5″. Do know that makes him over a foot taller than me?!

I’ll end this with another favorite. Looooovvveeeee.

Morgan & Bryce, I can’t wait for February to get here so you two can get married! If this was a taste of things to come, we’re going to have so much fun on your wedding day. Xoxo! Emily
