Later in the evening during her toast, Jessica’s sister, Emily, spoke about the change she saw in Jessica after David came into her life. Emily recalled the confidence and ease with which Jess carried herself. With tears in her eyes, she thanked Dave for being so supportive of her sister, for loving her, and for nurturing her into this beautiful woman she has become.
Jessica & Dave first met on a work softball team. He pitched; she played 1st base. After games, the team would go out for drinks and it always ended up being Jessica & Dave left at the end after everyone else had gone home. What started out as a great friendship turned into more time spent together and, eventually, a special love for each other that matched no other.
They were married this past Saturday at Westminster Presbyterian in Waterloo and then celebrated afterwards with their friends and family at Park Place Event Center. Enjoy some of the highlights of their wedding day.
Jessica & Dave opted for a first look and the cloud coverage that we had was absolutely perfect for photos outside!
I love the way he makes her smile.
You’d never know from the photos, but there was a major street running behind here and we had to shoot in between traffic driving by!
I loved the square tables and layers of neutral colors & whites they used in their reception hall!
We snuck out for a couple of minutes to capture some sunset photos. The light was absolutely perfect and I’m SO glad they agreed to take the 10 minutes for these!
