What a beautiful afternoon for Katie & Shane’s wedding!! I personally love Friday weddings (I got married on a Friday as well) and I’m so glad that Katie and Shane got beautiful weather and a relaxing day to begin their marriage. I fell in love with their beautiful children and and felt so honored to document the way they love each other, not just as a couple, but as a family.
I love the style and decor for their wedding! These blush and peach colors were so stunning and then Katie’s bouquet had a beautiful pop of colors that both complimented and also stood out.
Never have I seen wedding shoes that were so right for the gown. The little blush flowers in the straps perfectly mimicked the blush floral embroidery in Katie’s skirt.
After some photos of just Katie and Shane, their children joined us. My own kids’ ages are very similar to Katie’s children so it was especially fun for me to see them participating (and so well behaved!!) in their mom’s wedding.
Streams and rocks call to all children. This is a universal fact. I love that Henry & Addy were able to throw stones for a little bit in the full juxtaposition of their wedding clothes and typical child play.
