When I first met Amanda and Magnus at their engagement session, I knew we were going to have the easiest portraits on their wedding day. Add in that they allowed for extra portrait time (the best!!!) and we had the most fun together, exploring the land at Koru Berry Farm. The way these two interact with each other is so genuinely sweet. I give cues and then they just take it from there with so much snuggling close and laughter. (And Amanda has the prettiest laugh.)

We had a really hot day, but that is to be expected in Iowa summertime. We tried to keep to the shade, whenever we could find it, and take air conditioning breaks inside with lots of water. Thankfully, the ceremony location provided shade for the couple and their wedding party so they could stay relatively comfortable standing. Later in the day, we had some clouds pop up that provided times of overcast, which felt great, but also made photographing a big of a mixed bag as the light kept changing every few minutes.
