I absolutely love-love shooting around the Old Capitol & Pentacrest area in Iowa City. There is so much history right here in our city and the architectural lines reflects that. Almost always, sessions there are with couples simply because of the hassle of parking and walking with kids. But Shamus trusted my ideas (and I quote, “I completely trust your process!!”) and we scheduled this at the most ideal time possible (Sunday morning in the summer; students are gone, street parking is available and free, beat the heat). We had the place to ourselves and the boys were so well-behaved and adorable that it made the entire session easy and perfect.
