They officially met online, but after their first date a week later, “the rest was history,” Sarah recalled. “We have been inseparable since!” She was very nervous to meet him even though they had been talking on the phone every night up until then. “I waited for him in the lobby of the restaurant, looking at each person who came in, trying to decide if it was him.” It turned out, it was just as easy to talk with him in person as it was on the phone. They spent the next five hours talking…and haven’t stopped.
Brian said he cannot think of one best date because “I enjoy spending time with her every day. She is my best friend.”

The proposal story is “actually quite funny,” according to Sarah. “Brian has just received the ring and talk to my dad beforehand on a random Monday. Apparently, he decided he couldn’t wait any longer to ask. I got home late–around 8 PM–from my hospital shift and was tired and hungry. I opened the fridge to look for some dinner and he asked if he could ask me something. Me, in my very hangry state, said, ‘Not right now!’ Little did I know that he was on one knee. It was very cute and simple, which is a perfect representation of our relationship.”
