There are a lot of big decisions coming up for me. I’m anxious and weary and excited at the same time. Mostly, however, I’m feeling stressed. I am realizing that I need to lay my anxieties down and trust that God’s plan for me is perfect. The hard part is actually letting go of my anxieties because it’s just so hard to give them up, even as exhausting as they are to carry around. In light of all of this, I am trying to focus on the little things throughout my day today that made me feel like God really does care about Emily Crall and her happiness.
– sunshine
– running outside in shorts
– getting a text from a friend that simply says, “I love u. Keep your head up! I will pray for you. Smile.”
– a free evening to spend with my husband

– yoga outside
– songs that we’re singing in the Easter choir that play on loop in my car
– quietness
– my camera
– peaceful couch lounging with a good book (currently “The Help” by Kathryn Stockett)
– a hug from Kevin
– double-stuffed fudge cookies
– my Clarisonic Pro
– skim milk

– this quote, “Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and to savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life’s sweetest creation.”
Someday I will find my hummingbird.
