Hi, I'm Emily.

  • I’ve gotten so used to the bullet list now that I accidently refer to my bucket list as my bullet list, or even, occassionally, my bullet bucket. Yeah, it can be pretty confusing around these parts.
  • My blog stats show me what searches people used that ended them at my site. It totally cracks me up! Someone found me by googling: “elviralynn fekshin costume”  and someone else found me by googling “nude photography”. For the record, I have shot boudoir, but not nudes!
  • Nights at home deserve gold stars. It’s so rare anymore that I should start using a sticker chart.
  • Easter choir rocks! Also, it’s really sweaty. TMI? But seriously, because of trying to add several rows of chairs for the attendees, the orchestra pit got moved onto the stage and there wasn’t an inch of extra space. Also, it was really loud. And awesome.

(Um, excuse me, Chandler has a question.)

  • My parents took Kevin and I out to dinner after the Saturday Easter service. It was hilarious. Dad got a senior citizen discount of $0.33. It really pays off to get older!
  • I have been long obsessed with the British royal family and so it should come as no surprise that I have been closely following William and Kate and their wedding. What is surprising and crazy, however, is the dream I had about it. Laugh all you want, people. I was there! (Alert, alert: I was featured on www.katemiddleton.com!!!!!!! Head on over!!!)
  • Along the lines of the wedding (it’s tomorrow in case you live under a rock), I, for some weird reason, am very nervous about it, as in, I have butterflies. In honor of the wedding, here is a trip down memory lane from 5 years ago when my sister and I were pretending to be royals. We have nowhere near the style of Kate. Obviously.

  • I had a lot of fun doodling on the iPad. I made a snowman. He’s cute. I’ve yet to name him. Suggestions?
