The day they met, Paige called her mom and told her, “I think I just met my future husband.” Paige and Michael had just spent over 5 hours at a coffee shop after work one afternoon-turned-evening getting to know each other and having so much fun together. “He was so sweet, genuine, and funny. He immediately swept me off my feet,” Paige told me.
Nearly two years later, they were at a family friends’ lake cabin when he proposed on the beach. “It was so simple and perfect, and to be surrounded by my friends and family was just so amazing!”

A few months ago, they adopted their dog Rambo and he was the sweetest boy during their session! He had a rough past, but you’d never know it when you meet him because he is gentle and loving, clearly living his best life with Paige and Michael.
It is a busy year for them, not just with a wedding coming up this fall, but also a move this coming weekend back to the Iowa City area in preparation for Paige starting grad school this fall to get her masters in graphic design. We had their engagement session planned before the moving plans fell into place so they are making two consecutive weekend drives from Minnesota to Iowa, but this next one will not have a return trip. I’m excited for them to live nearby and Rambo is thrilled about his new fenced-in backyard.
