- I stumbled across this band who blew my socks off. I’m slightly obsessed with their tuneage right now. Stay gold forever. (Their CD is on my Christmas list in case you are tight with Santa.)
- The last three books I’ve read have all been complex, deep, and ended on depressing notes. So, to remedy that, I’m reading a Nora Roberts book.
- I have finally, successfully, beaten my little brother in chocolate chip cookies!!! Ever since he was 6, he’s been outdoing me in the baking front, but I chanced across a new recipe and, for the first time in 9 years, I’m happy to report that I’m back in the lead. He has already challenged me for a bake off. There may be a trophy involved. Stay tuned.
- Anyone else obsessed with the new TV show New Girl? I love Zooey Deschanel and she (as Jess) is painfully awkward so much so that I feel like we might be kindred spirits.
- I’m trying to wean myself off of creamer with my coffee. This is fairly successful except that on Sundays, I let myself dollop my coffee with creamer again which makes Mondays that much more painful.
