They met in high school. From freshmen all the way through, they knew each other as fellow classmates. It wasn’t until their senior year that things changed. And they’ve been together ever since the day he first asked her out. Since their love story began in high school, we went back to the beautiful City High grounds to capture their engagement session.

With school nearly starting up and construction around parts of the grounds in full swing (plus the sun shining fully on the beautiful front of the school), I had to be extra creative, but I love being pushed to think outside my typical comfort level, especially when it comes to lighting. No matter the situation, I want my photos to be consistent and I was so excited to be able to achieve that even while battling elements I couldn’t control. Plus, just look at these two!
