• So we got bikes a month ago and have been having a blast logging some miles. Our newest, favoritest thing is to bike to the tennis courts and play tennis. Kevin has been a very patient teacher and I a great student. Most of the time. I find that in sports, I am very competitive and beat myself up a lot about little things. I have not matured much since high school volleyball.
• My to-do list has been overwhelming lately. I won’t complain any more about it.

• The Olympics are over as of tonight. To say that the past two weeks have been emotional would be an understatement. I’ve been a train wreck. Even with all of NBC’s failures (read: delayed television in an era of instant twitter and google news), I’d still find myself in a complete panic as if the results were going to change. As always, my two favorite summer sports are beach volleyball and gymnastics. When Jordyn didn’t make the individual all-around, I cried. I also cried when they won the team gold. And let’s not even talk about Misty and Kerri.
• Now that my television hogging is over, Kevin’s is beginning with Shark Week.
• I needed this.
