“He’s really cute,” she said to her roommate, “But I don’t think he talks.” They were all hanging out while in school at the University of Iowa and he happened to be her roommate’s boyfriend’s roommate so they ended up in the same group.

It would be impossible not to notice her and it didn’t take long for him to warm up to her. She radiated with laughter, happiness, and life. They dated through the rest of college and continued to nurture their relationship through phone calls, long drives, and short weekends when he moved away after graduation for a job and she continued working on her degree.

With their wedding just a few months away, they are still nurturing their long distance relationship carefully, despite their work and grad school schedules. They are making intentional time to be together because together, they become better.

Linea & Nick are the kind of couple that you just want to be around because they are kind and generous and lovely. It’s a little bit magical, really. Spending the afternoon with them was like hot chocolate and puffy marshmallows on a rainy day…it was that perfect.
