Without a doubt, 2012 brought some of my favorites weddings…and some of my favorite people.

As an artist, I have to enter each wedding day with a fresh perspective. While it may be another wedding weekend on the books for me, it’s the most important day for two people and I cannot–will not–take that lightly. Photographing a wedding day, from getting ready all the way to toasts, brings with it some of my most rewarding moments. The pressure of capturing the moment is immeasurable, but in some ways, I thrive on that pressure. It’s that pressure, my own passion, and the excitement of the day that drives me through until the end. It’s only when it’s over that I can address the exhaustion, aching muscles, and swollen feet. Because all of what just happened throughout the day was enough to carry me through.

That’s what love and passion can do.
