We ended up being able to meet a bit earlier than we had planned and it turned out to be perfectly timed as, just as we were finishing up, it started raining. It was one of those chilly, cloudy days where you’d throw off your coat for 5 minutes and then take a 2 minute warm-up break. But these two, well, despite the chill, they were absolutely amazing to work with and said, “Just tell us what to do. We trust you!” Music to my ears, folks. Also, they brought me coffee…”to thank you for putting up with us”, they said. As if. But I am a sucker for bribery…and coffee. 🙂

This little canopy opened up into a beautiful field of grass. But the canopy, the canopy got me.

One of the things I love most about this couple is their trust. Not just with me, but with the other vendors they’ve chosen for their wedding. They want to let us do our job and they want to enjoy their wedding. It’s so refreshing to be given this kind of creative freedom!

They are both avid Cardinals fans so we ended their session paying tribute to their team.
